For over 70 years, Hilman has been manufacturing durable and dependable equipment for moving, installing, and relocating heavy machinery and large equipment. Their made in the U.S.A. solutions include a propelled crawler and powered skate (both are detailed below), as well as crazy skates, the PowerAttack skate drive bar, and roller chain skates.
Ride-Along hilman Traksporter
The Hilman Traksporter is a self-propelled crawler system built around a three-point moving design: a fully powered, remote-controlled front unit does the steering while a pair of unpowered rear dollies follow the load’s contour and help distribute weight evenly. The crawler runs on two steel tracks directed by a joystick on a ride-along power cart, connected by a 30-foot umbilical cord, giving the operator precise push, pull and near-360-degree turning control. This machine mover has a load of features, including precision-made steel track pads that are designed to move heavy machinery without damaging smooth concrete floors. Engineered Rigging has a Traksporter available for bare rental, and new units are available for purchase.

The Hilman TK-EVO is a battery-powered skate built for precise, cordless navigation in tight quarters common in data centers, warehouses, manufacturing plants and industrial facilities. With a low profile, compact design and no exhaust or emissions, the TK-EVO can operate in spaces off-limits to combustion-powered equipment. The standard TK-EVO machine skate is available for bare rental or purchase, and customization is available to meet your specific needs.
