Jack-Up Systems

The Enerpac JS-Series Jack-Up Systems provide a synchronous lift and mechanical hold using a multi-point lifting system. A typical system setup includes four jack-up units positioned under each corner of a load. The jack-up system’s synchronous technology maintains the balance of the load to optimize safety. Engineered Rigging is pleased to offer four jack-up system models. A four-unit setup has a lifting capacity of 2,000 metric tons (500 tons per unit).

HOW DOES A JACK-UP SYSTEM WORK?

The lifting frame of a jack-up contains four hydraulic cylinders in each corner which create lift and stack steel boxes or “lifting towers.” A load is lifted in increments as barrels or boxes are slid into the system, lifted, and stacked. The lifting barrels are stacked together to mechanically hold the load. The hydraulics power units are embedded within each unit's lifting frame.

In addition to the jack-up systems, Engineered Rigging has other equipment options that provide a synchronous lift including cube jacks, strand jacks and the Pipe Modular Lift System (PMLS) and a mining jacking tower.
