Cantilever Segmental Bridge Lift
The newest innovation in the Engineered Rigging fleet of heavy lifting technology is the Cantilever Segmental Bridge Lift. It provides a safe, economical, and efficient way to lift and hold concrete bridge segments in place over water when a crane isn’t feasible. The system cantilevers off the last segment of the bridge that was constructed over land. Once the new segment is in place over the waterway, the Cantilever Segmental Bridge Lift is then relocated to the newly installed bridge section so that the next concrete bridge span can be lifted into position.
Key Features
A key design component of Engineered Rigging’s Cantilever Segmental Bridge Lift is the use of four strand jacks which allow for a compact footprint and precise synchronous control of each bridge segment. Each strand jack has a lifting capacity of 17 to 1,405 tons and up to 60 strand jacks can be operated simultaneously to lift very large loads.
The strand jacks can be operated by a single operator from a central location.
Customized to Your Needs
The Cantilever Segmental Bridge Lift system can be customized for bridge projects of any size in North and South America. The system is easy to transport and can be quickly assembled on-site to expedite completion of the bridge.
